Sharp 1983 Houston Astros game issued jersey. The jersey is tagged correctly and has all the criteria needed for a 1983 Astros jersey except for the Virdon nameplate on the reverse of the jersey. Bill Virdon was fired as the Astros manager in August of 1982. The jersey was most likely produced for the Astros prior to Virdon being let go. Despite some questions as to the origin of this jersey it does remain an attractive example dating to the popular Houston Astros 1983 "Rainbow Style". Nice jersey!!!
