Jim Rice played 16 seasons in the majors all with the Boston Red Sox (1974-89). Rice played in 7 All-Star games and was named A.L. MVP in 1978. After collecting 382 Home Runs with 2,452 Hits Rice was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2009. This gamer dates to the 1980-83 seasons. The bat has a taped handle, which is typical of Rice gamers and shows moderate to heavy use. Rice's player number 14 rests on the knob in vintage marker.
