The 1978 season saw the Cincinnati Reds finish with a record of 92-69. Pete Rose posted a 44 game hit streak and Tom Seaver pitched his only career No-Hitter during the 1978 season which marked the end of the road for the "Big Red Machine" as Sparkey Anderson would be replaced as Manager the following year and Rose would leave for Philly. 28 members of that 1978 Reds team have added there signatures to this baseball.
