Carl Yastrzemski played 23 seasons in the majors all with the Boston Red Sox (1961-83). Yaz was awarded the MVP in 1967 and led the Red Sox to World Series births in 1967 and 1975. Elected to the Hall of Fame in 1989 Yaz bats are always in high demand and this one is as nice as you'll find. This stunning gamer dates to the 1977-79 seasons, which saw Yastrzemski named to 2 All-Star games (1977 & 1979) and collect his 3000th career hit (1979). The bat shows outstanding use and has Yastrzemski's player number 8 on the knob as well as the notation "Game 2". The handle exhibits the spiral tape pattern that is seen on many Yaz bats and has a slight handle crack.
