The Royals were building to be a contender and 1974 saw several of those pieces for continued success fall into place. Soon to be franchise face George Brett completed his Rookie season with the Royals appearing in 133 games and batting .282 with 47 RBI's during the 1974 season. This ball displays 24 signatures from that 1974 Kansas City Royals squad. Signatures include George Brett (Rookie Year), Orlando Cepeda, Paul Splittorff, Cookie Rojas, Hal McRae, Steve Busby, Freddie Patek, Tony Solaita, John Mayberry, Vada Pinson, Jack McKeon, and many others. Very nice ball from Brett's rookie season!! Tough to find high grade piece!!!
