George Sisler was one of the games greatest pure hitters. 6 times Sisler collected over 200 hits during his 15 year career and was elected to the Hall Of Fame in 1939. This George Sisler Pro-Stack model bat dates to the 1922-25 era. The bat shows heavy use with a handle crack that has been repaired with nails. The bat was returned for production to Louisville Slugger and has factory side writing remains consisting of the date 11-22-24 and a few letters of a player name (see letter). The bat is 34" long which is 2" shorter than Sisler's confirmed bat orders over this labeling period. Regardless it remains an attractive Pro-Model bat from this legendary Hall of Fame Member!!!
