On 09/03/1947 the St. Louis Cardinals traveled to Chicago to take on the Cubs. This Official Program dates to that game. The program is not scored but someone did start to record the starting line-ups. The purchaser of this program got to witness the Cardinals 11-1 victory and saw Stan Musial go 5-6 (career hits 1960-1964), Enos Slaughter HR (Career #90), and Phil Cavaretta go 3-4 (career hits 1564-1566). The program shows limited wear and displays nicely. Cool piece!!!
